Jack I. Dinaburg – President
Jack I. Dinaburg has over 35 years of leadership experience in both private and non-profit sectors. He was the founder and first president of the Upstate Kidney Association and the National Kidney Association of Upstate New York. Jack has served on the boards of the Jewish Community Center, Temple Sinai, and Big Brother/Big Sister.
Robert Crandall - Vice President
A retired, 30-year veteran of the fire service, Bob was named Firefighter of the Year 2000 for his community-based prevention and education efforts and career achievement.
Stewart R. Moscov , CLU, ChFC - Vice President
He is president of Heritage Financial Services, past president of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester, past president of the Rochester Life Underwriters Association, and a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable.
Robert Cole , Ph.D. - Treasurer
Robert Cole is President of Fireproof Children and one of the nation's leading experts in fire safety education. He is a research psychologist and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center School Of Nursing.
Carolyn Kourofsky - Secretary
A writer and President of Excelsior Editorial Consulting/ Doing Good By Writing Well. She has 20 years of experience raising money for major hospitals, universities and museums in the Rochester area. She is author of Mikey Makes a Mess.
Chennel Anderson - Director of Kids First Childcare, Inc. and was previously Director of the Destiny School for Gifted and Talented, with experience in early childhood issues, strategic planning and fundraising. She received her Bachelor’s in Educational Studies from SUNY Empire and her Associates in Educational Interpreting from the National Technical Institute for the Deaf/RIT.
Lidia Council - Ms. Council is a former Emergency Medical Technician with Rural Metro Medical Services, and currently is a case manager with the Rochester Eye and Tissue Bank. She is a 2000 graduate of Monroe Community College and a graduate of the United Way African American Leadership Developmental Program.
Greg Crandall - An agent with ReMax, with nine years of experience in the real estate field, he helped create Prevention 1st's New Homeowner Safety package.
Jane L. Glazer - Founder and president of QCI Direct Home Trends, Picket Fence and Sleep Solutions, mail order catalog businesses for more than 20 years. She serves on the Board of Trustees of WXXI, and as President of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community Center.
Michael G. Hirsh, MD - Dr. Hirsh trained in Rochester and practiced pediatrics here for 31 years. He is a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Rochester, and continues to teach medical students at the University of Rochester Medical School and residents at Golisano Children’s Hospital. He has dedicated his professional life to the care of children.
Frank McGarry - President of Francis A. McGarry Associates and project manager for the National Association of State Fire Marshals. Mr. McGarry has more than 20 years of service as New York State’s first State Fire Administrator and head of the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control
Jennifer Glanton Ralph - Currently a stay-at-home mom, Jen most recently served as Director of Programs for Fireproof Children. She is an illustrator and created the illustrations for Fireproof children’s book Mikey Makes a Mess.
David J. Singleton - Bishop Singleton is the Senior Pastor of the Ark of Jesus Ministries, President and CEO of Celebration of Life Community, Inc, and a retired professional firefighter for the City of Rochester.
Sharon P. Stiller, Esq. - A Partner with Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, Ms. Stiller is also co-chair of the United Way Campaign for Justice and has served on the Monroe County United Way Board of Directors. She is a Board Member of Mercy Outreach and the National Women’s Hall of Fame, and an Advisory Board Member of Habitat for Humanity.
Margaret Swift - As Director of Marketing at Rivers Run Community and former Director of Sales and Marketing at Woodcliff Hotel and Spa and the Brookwood Inn, Ms. Swift brings to Prevention 1st her extensive expertise in publicity, marketing and special events.

Ellie Stauffer - Program Director -Ellie holds a Master's degree in Organizational Development, Training and Human Resources Development and a BS degree in elementary education. Ellie developed Prevention First/play safe! be safe! - Fire Safety Education for Preschool Children and Families and prepared trainers across the country to present this train the trainer program to early childhood educators, reaching thousands of children and families across our nation.

Iris Banister - Ms. Banister is a longtime child advocate. She has previously been Executive Director of the Wilson Commencement Park, head of the City School District's Senior High Alternative Program for Education, and principal of the Charter School of Science and Technology.
Rick Costanza - Mr. Costanza is Chair of the Education Department of Monroe Community College. Previously he was Coordinator of Administrative Services and Senior Instructional Designer for the SUNY Learning Network, the nation’s second largest online learning program. He holds a master's degree in teaching and curriculum from Harvard University, and a BA in English from SUNY Geneseo.
Donna M. Dedee - Ms. Dedee is President and CEO of the School of the Holy Childhood, a non-profit agency serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. She was previously president and CEO of Bishop Kearney High School, following nearly 20 years in television journalism.
B. Daniel Dillard - Mr. Dillard is Executive Director of the Burn Prevention Foundation in Allentown, PA. He is also Chair of the Burn Prevention Committee of the American Burn Association and the 2006 recipient of the ABA Prevention Award.
Maria Figueroa - As Regional Manager of the National Fire Protection Association's Fire Prevention Field Office, Captain Figueroa is an NFPA ambassador to the fire prevention community and promotes fire prevention initiatives nationwide. Prior to her current position, she was a firefighter for 19 years, served as Public Education Bureau OIC of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, and founded the firesetter intervention coalition in Miami-Dade County.
Harriet J. Kitzman, Ph.D. - Dr. Kitzman is Associate Dean for Research and Professor of Nursing & Pediatrics at the University Of Rochester School Of Nursing. She has led several research studies related to the health and well-being of economically disadvantaged families with young children and youth.
Salvatore Mitrano III - Chief Mitrano serves as an ex oficio member of the Advisory Board in his capacity as Interim Chief of the Rochester Fire Department. He is a 25 year veteran of the Department, and most recently served as Executive Deputy Chief.
Mary Louise Musler - Ms. Musler is Executive Director of 292 Baby, a community collaboration administered by Monroe Community College which develops and administers programs to all early childhood educators in Greater Rochester.
R. Wayne Powell - Mr. Powell is Life Safety Specialist for Marriott International and former Chief of Citizen and Community Preparedness of the United States Fire Administration (USFA). He has been involved in fire protection and training for more than 30 years, including USFA programmatic activities and National Fire Academy training.
Joan Roby-Davison - For more than a decade Ms. Roby-Davison was Executive Director of Group 14621 Community Association, serving more than 13,000 households in northeast Rochester and working to improve life in this neighborhood, including household hazard reduction and safety. Since 2008 Ms. Roby-Davison has been Coordinator of the Empire State Housing Alliance.
Renee Tembeckjian, Ph.D. - Dr. Tembeckjian is a clinical psychologist. She is a regular consultant to public and private schools, clinical supervisor for Onondaga-Madison BOCES and a frequent presenter/keynote speaker on topics in child development, family mental health, and educational systems interventions with children.
